It sounds like websites that use Sitemeter as a stats package are crashing when web surfers are using Internet Explorer to visit those sites.
I’ve been a web designer for 8 years and Internet Explorer(IE) has been my biggest pain in the ass. Maybe Microsoft should just step back and let other companies like Apple and Mozilla design browsers the right way.
I feel bad for the company that has released Sitemeter. They HAVE to get this fixed because not everyone knows about the total awesomeness of Mozilla Firefox. In case you are not using it, switch RIGHT AWAY.
You can get the latest version of Firefox by visiting here: Mozilla.com
Sadly, I only use Internet Explorer to see how bad my websites are going to react with it.
